Adult Programs


The Epilepsy Support Centre offers a wide range of programs catering to the adult community. Our programs promote social interaction, independence and general well-being of those living with or affected by epilepsy. Afternoons and Coffee Spoons

Afternoons and Coffee Spoons is a drop in program that runs on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. This is an informal group that gets together for coffee. All are welcome.

Parents Sharing Together

As a parent, you know a lot about living with seizures and the impact they have on family life. Come and meet other parents who know what you are going through. Learn from their experiences and share your own with informal discussions, great presentations and more. This group runs at the same time as Kids Art. Please bring your kids, dinner snacks and activities for the kids are provided. You must RSVP at (519) 433-4073.

The Gary Wilson Rive Memorial Resource Centre

The Gary Wilson Rive Resource Centre contains many informative brochures, pamphlets, books and videos. The information is available to borrow at any time. Just stop by the office and check out what we have.

Peer to Peer Network

Need someone to talk to... or just want to have a chat with a friend? Our Peer to Peer Network is a group of people affected by epilepsy who are willing to talk to others about their experiences. We try our best to link people based on commonalities and experiences.

Surgery Support Group

This support group consists of a network of members who have undergone epilepsy surgery and are pleased to share their experiences with those considering surgery as treatment option.

Epilepsy Ambassadors

Epilepsy Ambassadors are committed to increasing public awareness about epilepsy and seizure disorders through the distribution of brochures and information displays. Please contact the office if you would like to get involved.

Social Committee

This is a member driven committee responsible for fundraising and sponsoring social events for all members. New committee members welcome!
